This video is a complication of different arts-based community building projects completed in collaboration with the community of downtown Kitchener, Ontario. Projects ranged in scope, cost and goals. Some projects were crowdsourced, some were funded through grants and some were supported by residents living in the community. Our approach was to ensure that everyone who wants to participate feels included and has a role regardless of their confidence or enthusiasm for the arts. As such, some folks helped in planning, some created the art and some amplified the message and recruited folks to participate.
