Arts-Based Community Building
Pineapple Flags focuses on small & medium scale arts-based community building projects that emphasize folks coming together in their own creative ways to contribute to a larger scale project or impact. When we work with a community, we are aware that the arts can be intimidating, so we look to engage people where they are at in their creative confidence and include roles in planning, facilitating, hosting and promoting. This approach helps us to include more people based on their strengths and harness the creative energy from folks who don’t consider themselves authentic ‘artists.’
